korean company launch robotic technology
IA KOREA, a Korean distributor of IAI, has upgraded the actuator NS series, which has already been supplied by IA Korea.
The new NS Series is a nut-rotating actuator with IAI's Batteryless Absolute Encoder. The company also supported the Absolute & Encoder in the form of an option for the existing NS series, but in this case, it was inconvenient to periodically change the battery.
Newly upgraded new actuators are equipped with a battery-less absolute encoder as standard, allowing them to store their positions without a battery. It minimizes inconveniences such as battery purchase or management while maintaining the strength of Absolute encoder. As a result, after the initial start-up, there is no need to perform a home return operation or an origin confirmation sensor, thus maximizing ease of use.
Long strokes and fast speeds also demonstrate the progress of the actuator. The upgraded actuator has a maximum stroke of 2,300 mm and a speed of 2,500 mm / s.
In general, an actuator using a ball screw has a maximum velocity deteriorated due to a rotation motion disturbance caused by ball screw deflection as the stroke becomes longer. However, the new NA series is designed not to rotate the ball screw but to move the nut by the motor, so that it can move at high speed without slowing down even in the long stroke, which can shorten the cycle time.
An IA official said, "Compared to the same specification, IAI Ball Screw Rotary Type Model (ISA-W) can reduce cycle time by about 40% compared with the same moving conditions."
The upgraded actuator series adds a high payload model. As the 750W motor capacity is added to the lineup, it can be rotated up to 120kg with a nut rotating actuator capable of high-speed rotation.
In the same way as the existing NS series, the Multi Slider specification can be utilized. The multi-slide design allows two slides to be operated separately on one axis, which saves installation space and shortens the track time.
In addition, the XSEL SSEL Controller can be used as a standard 'crash prevention' function to prevent collision between slides.
Meanwhile, an official from IA Korea said, "In the existing NS series, the nut and the hollow motor were arranged in a line on the ball screw. However, the upgraded nut rotating actuator transmits the power by the belt & pulley, IAI's new concept of rotating nut in parallel "
Dasan Newtech, a visionary company, has introduced a new modular 3D compact sensor.
The company's Modular Compact Sensors (MCS) series 3D sensors provide laser triangulation and are characterized by a modular housing design. This product can be added to the sensor module, laser module, and link module as needed. The sensor module contains a core electronic component including a lens and a bandpass filter. The laser module includes a line laser projector. The link module can be used to mechanically connect the laser module to the sensor module.
"With the MCS series, customers can choose the pre-configured model and do not have to purchase it," says Dasan Newtech. "Customers can configure their own solutions for the X-FOV, You can specify the desired performance data, such as points per profile and scan speed, and receive a 3D sensor configured with that module. "We can get a fully customized solution for measurement without additional cost or time, and we have maximum flexibility without the NRE cost."
One of the greatest strengths of the MCS series is its ability to implement all configurations with dual head sensors, ie two sensor modules. In addition to connecting sensor modules in different performance data that perform completely different measurement tasks in parallel, higher quality of measurement can be expected thanks to the non-engaging 3D images. Thus, an uncomplicated, customized solution can be used for any application that inspects several component properties.
Dasan Newtech, founded in 2000 with the mission of Dasan System, formed a 3D vision team in 2003 and then launched a software team in 2005 to provide services for the entire vision solution. Currently, the company offers solutions for a wide range of 2D / 3D vision products, flexible feeders, binning systems, automotive surveillance solutions, vision libraries and lasers. Based on various 3D cameras and software products such as Common Vision Blocks (Germany), AUTOMATION TECHNOLOGY and AQSENSE, which is the No. 1 European market share, 2D, area such as position determination, presence judgment, barcode recognition, Of-the-art 3D technology.
